Literary Club
- Literary club conducted Reading Week celibration. It was inaugurated by Sajeev Mantharathur (A budding Poet). The club also offered the presentation of book reviews by students and teachers.
- A talk on Vaikom Muhammad Basheer’s novel ‘Pathummayude Adu’by prolific writer Dr. Aboobacker Kappad (Principal MHES College)
- A documentary Presentation named ‘Basheer The Man’ (A tribute to Basheer) was also presented at the college Seminar Hall.
- Literary Day was celibrated with the renowned writer PK Parakkadav. The programme was named as ‘Parakkadavinodoppam Oru Divasam’
- A discussion on the work ‘Kanhikkarayile Visheshangal’ (which Bagged Karur Special Jurry mention award) was conducted with the title ‘Kanhikkarayiloode Oru Yatra’.
- A talk on ‘Literature is life’ was conducted at the Seminar Hall by Dr. K. Arunlal (Dept. of English, Govt. College Mokeri)
College Literary Club named ‘FLOREAT’ (Latin-let it Flourish) is formed under the Department of English. The club was Inaugurated by Asst. Film Director and – writer Dr.K Arun Lal (Department of English, Mokeri). A wall Magazine is there in the college for exhibiting literary powers of our college.
Club conducted many programmes such as talks on different literary works, literary Quiz Competition, observing literary important days, and days celibrating famous writers.
There are 100 members in the club.
